Human Capacities to Involve Natural Forces to Maintain Water Health
NBS considers and takes Bio-remediation as a Nature-based solution for used-water rehabilitation for re-use or return to Natural Water Resource Management System under NEQS.
The system is developed under the guidance and governance of Mother Nature with Her provided visible and invisible tools like aquatic plants, microbes, wisdom to design, construct, maintain biologically, etc.
NBS learned human-created Nature-based system required human responsibility to manage it carefully considering it as a sewerage treatment plant because it does not cover all required parameters of Mother Nature. So, these systems cannot be left to Mother Nature's responsibility with less Nature's applications to manage contamination. Mother Nature's created systems are powered by all required Natural components especially vast lands, the chance to grow all micro and macro aquatic life, and decompose them naturally.
NBS does not take it as a low-cost but cost-effective system to maintain all protocols to vary the quantity, composition, combination of microbial consortia and aquatic plants to respond to changes in water quantity and contamination levels.
Technology application assessment
NBS (Pvt) Ltd is a registered organization with Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan and Engineering Council of Pakistan.
NBS designers work on the design and engineers execute civil work in close collaboration with biologists and environmental chemists.
Construction
The construction time of the project depends on the water volume and the level of contamination, the biological process takes three to four months to optimize the treatment system irrespective of the size of the project.
Operation & Maintenance
NBS likes to sign the O&M agreement minimum of three years before signing the main project contract. The biological application needs some time to settle the variable for having NEQS under the permissible limits. NBS wants to train clients' staff and see the site operational.

Nano Bio-Solutions (Private) Limited was founded under the leadership of Dr. Asif Riaz in 2012; NBS registered under section 42 companies act 1984, Securities Exchange Commission (SECP) of Pakistan. NBS is also registered with Pakistan Engineering Council.
Dr, Asif Riaz got the brilliant educational carrier, won the first position in M.Sc. Chemistry from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad and awarded him, Gold Medal. He did his Ph.D. in Laser Analytical Chemistry from Soul National University, Soul, South Korea, and did his post-docs in Bio-Engineering, Nano-technology, and Stem cells from Berkeley, California, USA.
NBS team is comprised of team members with diverse knowledge and experience. Under his guidance, NBS has performed to execute more than two fifty (250) Bio-remediation and Integrated Sanitation & Farming System (ISFS) projects country-wide. These projects have been executed with private, public, and development organizations. These projects were in semi-urban, rural, and unsettled far areas with direct involvement of communities and other relevant stakeholders.
NBS got involved with Research & Development work and developed hybrid models for urban areas where Bioremediation land requirements were not fulfilled. The hybrid models comprised integration of mechanization and Bio-remediation to address the limitation of land shortage. There are several projects executed, implemented, and working well.
It also includes working on developed models to treat produced water of the petroleum industry. The experiment was carried out at the lab and experimental field of NBS. It took a year to find a workable combination of plants and microbes to manage produced water. After achieving successful results, the project is in the implementation stage in one of fields of MOL-Pakistan.
The waste from butcheries and horse dung experiments was finalized at NBS labs and fields. The NBS appreciated a lot by the clients to install these facilities in their program areas to manage waste and harvest quality compost and bio-methane gas for fueling their geysers.

Yousaf Riaz is blessed with the heart to serve the ignored and discarded polluted/sick waters. He started his Journey to find a way that should be cost-effective to affordable to treat and rehabilitate domestic and industrial used water for re-use.
Yousaf did his Master in the Science of Economics from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. He improved his management skills by doing his Master in Philosophy in Management Sciences from SZABIST University, Islamabad.

Yousaf got the ability to chase his dreams and use his educational learning to apply to his priority work. He implemented his professional knowledge of economics to reclaim polluted water by using local microbial, aquatic, and bio-engineering applications to minimize the treatment cost. He succeeded in his efforts and; proved the concept and established the "National Institute of Bio-remediation" at NARC, Ministry of Food Security & Research, as Founding Director, and facilitated forty-five people to have jobs according to their professional qualifications.
Yousaf realized that his strict followership of Mother Nature to reclaim contaminated waters with economic efficiency; he has been transformed into Water Economist by Mother Nature.
Yousaf worked with NGOs/development, UN, and public sector organizations leaving footprints to be his presence on Earth. He tried with his brothers Dr. Asif Riaz and Munsif Riaz to establish NBS (Pvt) Ltd. serving discarded water resources with more liberty.

Covid-19 (2019-21) hit NBS technical and economic growth negatively. NBS governance and management showed strong nerves to carry on positively. The ongoing projects' speed got slow, but they went on; NBS dedicated staff contributed their best to complete all facilities in 2022.

Microbial Consortia
NBS developed the facility to develop and produce microbial consortia for contaminated water treatment and production of aquatic plants' compost. It also includes variety of microbes to treat animal dung and organic solid waste.
NBS governance and management have plans to produce microbial consortia on a commercial scale to provide households for using in their toilets for initiating the treatment process from home.
Machines Manufacturing
NBS team includes experts in designing and manufacturing machines for hybrid Bio-remediation systems to manage the problem of having less space in urban centers. Generally, the dedicated space for used water treatment is less, and the water pollution is higher, and it causes heath issues for the people living nearby or downstream.
Customization
