Ideas won’t keep. Something must be done about them.
Knowledge, planning, policy, and strategy are not enough; one must take action to move towards one's goals.

Clearing Common Misconceptions about Water
People throughout the ages have experienced―consciously or otherwise―the life-giving and
healing forces of water. It is integral to life, surrounding us in nature as well as within our bodies.
Myths & Realities about Water
Fresh / Clean Water-1
Myth
The Drinking Water quantity on the planet is unlimited
Reality
Freshwater makes up a tiny fraction of all water on the planet. While nearly 70 percent of the world is covered by water, only 2.5 percent is fresh. The rest is saline and ocean-based. Even then, just 1 percent of our freshwater is easily accessible, with much of it trapped in glaciers and snowfields.
Water Cycle-2
Myth
Every time Fresh / Clean Drinking is a new water...
Reality
Planet Earth has a fixed amount of water since its inception, and according to its composition, it is a closed system, and water can not get out of the Planet or enter into it.
The water is naturally recycled, and we use it again and again unless we contaminate it beyond Nature’s capacities to reclaim it for our use.
Used water is a wastewater-3
Myth
Once the fresh water is used, the used water is a throw away product
Reality
This misconception is detrimental; people contaminate water beyond the recycling limits of Nature. Human efforts are not significant in support of recycling.
The water is not a one-time use product; it needs to be recycled for reuse and leave in a usable shape for coming generations.
Water contamination impact-4
Myth
Used water pollution impact is not assessed and it is considered as harmless after discharged from residential areas or industrial zones...
Reality
Highly dense populated areas generate exceedingly concentrated contaminated waste without proper treatment, and it does harm / contaminate freshwaters. One liter of polluted water contaminates about 15 liters of freshwater resources.
Fresh water availability-5
Myth
Reduction of water quantity on the Planet...
Reality
Fresh / Clean / Drinkable quantity decreases, but the overall volume of water on Planet Earth is the same. The main problem is ignoring the responsibility of treating and managing the used (contaminated) water. This ignorance pollutes freshwaters, and its entry into sea waters makes its reclamation very difficult and expensive.
Learning & Applications...
it is learned that water is provided to the planet earth in a fixed quantity since its evolution, and it is recycled for reuse– no new water...
realized that water is the driving force for socio-economic prosperity...
Sensitivity to use water efficiently having minimum contamination...
vigilant to keep water resources healthy and safe to use in droughts...
tendency to treat all human contaminated waters...
built small, medium and large dams as per requirement...
applied biological ways to manage water resources; cost-effectively...
